About Lotto (Danmark)
Lotto is Denmark’s national Saturday lottery, run by Danske Spil, the state-controlled gaming company. Seven numbers are drawn from a pool of 36, followed by an eighth ball from the same machine, the tillægstal or additional number. It has one draw a week, on Saturday evening.
This page shows the seven winning numbers and the additional number for every Saturday draw, taken from Danske Spil’s official results service, with the prize breakdown the operator publishes. LuckyNumberz does not sell tickets and has no connection with Danske Spil.
How to play
Choose seven numbers from 1 to 36 for each row, or let the terminal or app pick them at random. The draw is held on Saturday evening at around 20:00 Copenhagen time, and sales close shortly before it.
Tickets are sold by Danske Spil’s retailers across Denmark and through its official website and app. One ticket can carry several rows and can be entered for a number of consecutive Saturdays. The ticket can also include Joker, a separate game based on a printed seven-digit number; the Joker result is not part of the Lotto numbers shown here.
Odds
The odds of winning the Lotto (Danmark) jackpot are 1 in 8,347,680: 7 numbers from 1–36.
Prizes and jackpot
The prize categories are named by the operator after the number of correct numbers, from four correct up to seven correct. The additional number is used in one category only: six correct numbers plus the additional number ranks above six correct numbers alone. Seven correct numbers wins the top prize and no additional number is needed for it.
Prizes are pari-mutuel and depend on sales and on how many rows share each category; the operator publishes the amount per winner in each category after the draw and those figures appear on this page. When nobody has seven correct numbers the top prize rolls over to the following Saturday. This page shows the winning amount for the top category where there was a winner.
History
Danish Lotto held its first draw in 1989 and has been drawn every Saturday since. Over the years Danske Spil has added other draw games alongside it, including the Wednesday Vikinglotto and the pan-European Eurojackpot, but the Saturday Lotto with seven numbers from 36 remains the game most Danes associate with the word Lotto.
Frequently asked questions
When is the Danish Lotto drawn?
Every Saturday evening at about 20:00 Danish time. The numbers are published on the operator’s site shortly afterwards.
What are the odds of matching all seven numbers?
Seven numbers from 36 give 8,347,680 combinations, so the odds of the top prize are 1 in 8,347,680 per row.
What is the tillægstal?
An eighth ball drawn from the same machine after the seven main numbers. It only matters if you have six correct numbers: six plus the additional number is a higher category than six alone.
Is Joker shown on this page?
No. Joker is a separate game drawn on the same evening with its own numbers and prizes. This page covers the Lotto draw only.
