About Ötöslottó
Ötöslottó (“five-number lotto”) is Hungary’s oldest and best-known lottery, run by the state operator Szerencsejáték Zrt. Five numbers are drawn from a pool of 90 once a week, on Saturday evening, and the draw has been a fixture of Hungarian television for decades. There is no bonus or supplementary number: the five main numbers are all there is.
The numbers on this page come from the operator’s official results files and are checked after every draw. LuckyNumberz does not sell tickets and has no connection with Szerencsejáték Zrt.; we display the results, the prize breakdown and the expected jackpot for the coming week.
How to play
Pick five numbers from 1 to 90 on each line. You can mark them yourself or take a random selection generated by the terminal, and a single slip can carry several lines. Draws are on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm Budapest time; sales close before the draw and reopen for the following week straight afterwards.
Tickets are sold at Szerencsejáték Zrt. outlets and lottery counters across Hungary and through the operator’s own online channels. The same slip can be entered for several consecutive weeks. A separate add-on game, Joker, uses a printed number rather than your chosen five and can be added to the ticket for an extra charge.
Odds
The odds of winning the Ötöslottó jackpot are 1 in 43,949,268: 5 numbers from 1–90.
Prizes and jackpot
There are four prize tiers: matching two, three, four or five of the drawn numbers. Each tier receives a fixed share of the prize fund, so the amounts vary with sales and with the number of winners. Matching two numbers pays a small amount; the five-number prize is the jackpot.
The jackpot rolls over without a cap when no ticket matches all five numbers. Because five numbers from 90 is a long shot, rollovers can run for many weeks, and the operator publishes an expected jackpot for the coming draw, which is the figure shown at the top of this page.
History
The first Ötöslottó draw was held in 1957, and the 5/90 matrix has remained the same ever since, making it one of the longest-running unchanged lottery formats in Europe. Weekly draws were originally read out on the radio before moving to television, where they are still broadcast live.
Frequently asked questions
When is Ötöslottó drawn?

Five numbers from 90: 1 in 43,949,268 for a single line — longer odds than many six-number games because of the large pool.
