About SuperEnalotto

SuperEnalotto is Italy’s national jackpot lottery, run by Sisal since its launch in December 1997. With six numbers drawn from 90 it has the longest jackpot odds of any major lottery — and consequently some of the largest rollovers in Europe.

This page shows the six winning numbers, the Jolly and the SuperStar for every draw, plus the estimated jackpot for the next one.

How to play

Pick six numbers from 1 to 90. A single play costs €1, and you can mark several columns on one ticket. Draws are held on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in Rome.

For an extra €0.50 you can add SuperStar, a separate number from 1 to 90 drawn from its own machine. Matching the SuperStar multiplies your prize or pays fixed amounts on its own, including €5 for the SuperStar alone.

Odds

The odds of winning the SuperEnalotto jackpot are 1 in 622,614,630: 6 numbers from 1–90.

Prizes and jackpot

The six prize categories run from matching two numbers up to matching six. A seventh ball, the Jolly, is drawn from the same machine and creates the “5+1” category for players who matched five numbers and the Jolly.

The jackpot has no cap and rolls over indefinitely, which is why SuperEnalotto jackpots have exceeded €300 million more than once.

History

SuperEnalotto replaced the older Enalotto in 1997. The SuperStar option was added in 2006, and the modern draw schedule of four draws a week dates from 2022.

The record jackpot is €371.1 million, won on 16 February 2023 by a 90-share syndicate ticket — the largest prize ever paid by a European lottery.

Frequently asked questions

When is SuperEnalotto drawn?

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 20:00 Rome time. The official site publishes the numbers within about an hour of the draw.

What are the odds of matching six numbers?

1 in 622,614,630 — the longest jackpot odds of any big lottery in Europe or the United States.

What is the Jolly number?

A seventh ball drawn after the six main numbers. It only counts for players who already have five main numbers; five plus the Jolly is the second prize category.

What does SuperStar do?

It is an optional extra number. Matching it adds fixed bonuses or multiplies the main prize, and matching the SuperStar alone pays €5.
