About Lotto (België/Belgique)
Lotto is the national lottery game of Belgium, run by the Nationale Loterij / Loterie Nationale, the state lottery founded in 1934. Six numbers are drawn from 45 together with a bonus number from the same drum, and the draw takes place on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
The numbers on this page, the prize table and the jackpot announced for the next draw are taken from the operator’s official results service. LuckyNumberz does not sell tickets and has no connection with the Nationale Loterij.
How to play
Pick six numbers from 1 to 45 on a grid, or ask for a Quick Pick. Tickets are sold at Belgian lottery retailers and through the operator’s official website and app. The same ticket can be entered for several consecutive draws, and system grids let you mark more than six numbers to cover every combination among them.
Draws are on Wednesday and Saturday at 20:00 Brussels time, with sales closing shortly before the draw. Side games sold with a Lotto ticket, such as Joker+ and Lucky Lotto, have their own numbers and prizes and are not part of the Lotto results shown here.
Odds
The odds of winning the Lotto (België/Belgique) jackpot are 1 in 8,145,060: 6 numbers from 1–45.
Prizes and jackpot
There are nine prize ranks, from one number plus the bonus number up to six numbers. The bonus ball is drawn from the same drum after the six main numbers, and it decides the ranks that pair a set of main numbers with the bonus: five plus the bonus is rank 2, and one plus the bonus is the smallest prize.
The jackpot is guaranteed at a minimum of €1 million. When it is not won it rolls over, growing by €500,000 per draw, until a ticket matches all six numbers; the amount announced for the next draw is shown at the top of this page.
History
Lotto has been played in Belgium since the late 1970s and is the operator’s longest-running number game. The game was relaunched in October 2011 with its current format and prize structure, and the operator restarted its draw numbering at that point: draw number 1 took place on 1 October 2011, and the archive on this page runs from that draw to today.
